StarOffice 8 is a full-featured office suite that contains a word processor, a spreadsheet tool, applications for presentations, databases, and drawing. It has support for most Microsoft Office formats and it can also export documents as PDF files from within the application.

Xenia Community Schools, through the District Technology Council, has made the decision to standardize the districts office productivity suite, and has chosen Star Office as our standard.

The links included on this page are here to assist the user in answering questions and finding solutions for problems they may encounter using Star Office. Star Office's layout and functions are very similar to Microsoft Office (excluding 2007), and should be very familiar to users of the Microsoft product.
