The Xenia Community Schools Foundation is seeking nominations for the Hall of Honor. Graduates of Xenia High School who have made a significant or outstanding achievement or contribution in vocational pursuits, community or governmental affairs, meritorious recognition for some action taken or provided are eligible for nomination. Former staff or community citizens who have made extraordinary service to the Xenia Schools or who have served as an extraordinary example to others may also be nominated. Nominations may be received at any time and are kept in a permanent file for consideration in future years. Nominations for consideration for 2012 enshrinements must be received by February 1, 2012.

The nomination process is easy. Simply provide the following information:

1. Name of nominee
2. Position or title
3. Mailing address of nominee (or nearest relative if nominee is deceased)
4. Email address of nominee (or nearest relative if nominee is deceased)
5. Phone number of nominee
6. Years of attendance in Xenia Schools
7. Name of nominator
8. Phone number of nominator
9. Relationship to nominee
10. Briefly and specifically state in what way or for what reasons you feel the accomplishments or achievements of this individual warrant their inclusion in the Hall of Honor
11. Include any additional information you may know about the candidate. For example, academic achievement, athletic achievement, outstanding citizenship, and any outstanding service to the Xenia Community Schools or to the students they serve.
12. List any previous awards or honors of which you may be aware that this person may have received.
13. List any additional information you may have.

Note: Self-nominations are acceptable as well as posthumous nominations.

The Hall of Honor is located at Xenia High School. The display not only honors those who have made significant contributions, but it also serves as a motivator for current students to realize the value of the education they are receiving and their responsibility to make a significant difference in their world.
