Xenia Community Schools hosts community meeting to share strategic plan for 2011-2016

Xenia Community Schools will share its newly developed strategic plan for the next five years during a Public Forum beginning at 9 a.m., Saturday, March 19, at McKinley Elementary School, 819 Colorado Dr., Xenia.

Members of the community, parents and business leaders are invited to attend.

Attendees will hear the details of the plan that will guide the district’s leadership team through the next five years of growth and change. Light refreshments will be served.

The plan was developed during several months of meetings with district administration, City of Xenia officials, community business leaders and parents of Xenia students.

David Ramey, consultant with Strategic Leadership Associates, Inc., will present an overview of the planning process. Xenia Community Schools Supt. Deborah Piotrowski and Xenia Education Association President Mark Manley will present the plan and answer any questions.

Small group table discussions will be facilitated by table moderators. A question-and-answer session will follow.

All attending will be asked to complete an exit survey.
