XHS students work with robotics to learn tech skills, work ethic and confidence

Students at Xenia High School (XHS) are utilizing the power of robotics to prepare for technical and engineering careers by participating in academic, applied technical and work readiness training. The Technology Corridor Project (TCP) is a technology outreach program of Cuyahoga Community College and Central State University that is in its first year at XHS.  By participating in competitive events and community-based outreach activities, students leave TCP programs ready to pursue post-secondary education or enter the high-tech workforce.

The VEX robot is shown is a prototype that will be built by XHS students.

Dominique James, Olivia Hall and Victoria Walker begin their initial inventory of their robot building supplies. Darrien Bagford and Karlee study their manual on the first day of assembling the VEX robot.
