Pride Certificates at Monday's Board Meeting

Kids of Character Feb.

Several Pride Certificates were awarded at the Board Meeting on February 12. Students from Kids of Character, McKinley's Lego Robotic Team, and two high school students who placed 1st in Region 7 Business Professionals of America (BPA). 

Kids of Character: Louella Bond (Preschool) who's always ready to learn, Kyhler Baker (Arrowood) who is kind and respectful, Anna Denton (Cox) who shares with others, Julian Burnett (McKinley) who has a contagious smile and sets good examples for others, Ephraim Mulindilwa (Shawnee) who is very patient and diligent in learning as he fairly new to the country and school, Gunnar Stephan (Tecumseh) who is always respectful and responsible, Kaylee Benson (Warner) who is helpful in the classroom and treats everyone with kindness, and Heidi Alex (XHS) who challenges herself taking AP and honors courses, involved in numerous clubs, organizations, and activities. 

McKinley Lego Robotics Team: (4th grade) Zachary Tolle, Abigail Hutchins, Taylor Walker, Taylor Fuchs, and Trey Greene. (5th grade) Alisha Lindsey, Malaki Gill, Jocelyn Bohn, and Christopher Chandler. Coaches are Tim Carey and Steven Tolle. 

Business Professionals of America Students: Isabell Tettau and Ian Soderquist. They worked on this project together creating a commercial for the benefits of teenagers getting sufficient sleep.
