STAR Awards

Students in grades Kindergarten through grade 5 can earn STAR Awards at Tecumseh.  Students caught being respectful and/or responsible can earn a STAR Award.

2011-2012     Star Awards

10 Star Awards – Students sign Autograph Board and picture displayed on Star Awards Bulletin Board.

20 Star Awards –  Star Student Pencil and name displayed in hallway.

30 Star Awards – Ice Cream Bar Party.  Name displayed in hallway. (One ice cream party per month – can only attend once.)

40 Star Awards – 20 Minute Extra Recess once a month for those newly awarded star students.  Name displayed in hallway.  (Extra recess given each month – can only attend once)

50 Star Awards – Wheel of Fortune Spin – Spin the wheel and get a candy bar, pencil, candy, $1-3.00 and other goodies.  Name displayed in hallway.  (One Wheel of Fortune spin a month – can only participate once)

60 Star Awards – Pizza Party and name displayed in hallway – (Held once a month – can only attend once)

70 Star Awards - Mrs. Long calls parent to congratulate them and they call back on the Mickey Mouse phone in the office to congratulate their child.  Pictures displayed in hallway

80 Star Awards – Beach Party and Movie.  Name displayed in hallway.  (Held in May)

90 Star Awards - Star T shirt and name displayed in hallway.

100 Star Awards – McDonalds Day.  Name displayed in hallway  (Held in May)
