Dubnium is similar to the element Rutherfordium. Both elements have similar number of protons and electrons. They also are in the same period and have a similar atomic mass and number. Most of all both Dubnium and Rutherfordium are in the same group (Transition Metals). Even though Dubniums density is unknown, there are still explanations why it doesn't have a density. Density equals mass over volume. That is how you can calculate density. Dubnium doesn't have a density because only small amounts of Dubnium were produced so scientists cant tell what the density is yet. |
