More Information

The April Student to Adult Life Transition Series' topic is "What Do I Need to Know about Guardianship?" with special guest speaker Brittany O'Diam Horseman, Attorney at Law. Ms. Horseman will explain the guardianship process, what is involved, and alternatives. The SALT-TEENS Session topic is "What's the Priority" and they will look at prioritizing and making good choices.

Students are encouraged to attend their own series called the SALT-TEENS, which takes place at the same time as the parents’ SALT series. These sessions were created for students ages 14 to 22+, to bring transition awareness and to help them prepare for the transition from school to adult life and beyond. The students will be able to participate in interactive activities directed towards transition, meet other students, learn social skills all while having fun!

All are welcome to attend! All SALT meetings are FREE to attend! Light refreshments are provided!

These trainings are being brought to you by the Employment First Local Leaders Collaboration of Montgomery, Greene & Warren Counties.

Certificate of Attendance available at the sign-in table.
