After a busy summer of transition I am pleased to welcome you to the 2011-2012 school year.  Student’s first day will be Wednesday, August 24, 2011.  As you may already know, this year Central Middle School will be home to all of the 6th grade students and about 20% of the 5th grade students in Xenia.  Another change is that our school hours will be 9:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. 

We will host an Open House on Thursday, August 18, from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Students will be able to pick up schedules, meet teachers and staff, as well as locate lockers and classrooms.  A list with the name of the students’ first period teacher will be posted on the front doors.  Upon entering the building students should report to their first period classroom to receive their schedule.  First period teachers will answer questions, or if you would like to stop by the office, I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

I am excited to have the opportunity to serve as Principal at Central Middle School and invite parents to feel free to contact the office if you have any concerns.  We have an outstanding staff that is anxious to get started and we look forward to working with you and your child enjoying a productive and rewarding school year.
