BIOLOGY AND HONORS BIOLOGY

In this class we will study the science of living things.  We will learn of the basic similarities in all living things, tissue and organ function, genetic inheritance, and will undergo a study of the different kingdoms of living things.  This class is meant to provide the student with knowledge to be applied in many different career fields, as well as preparing them for further study in the sciences.

The Honors biology class is taught at a faster pace with more in-depth review of subjects, and is meant to be a lead-in for AP biology as well as preparation for the OGT.

This class explores the science of living things.  Due to the demands of the upcoming OGT and in the interest of getting our students ready for it, we will be concentrating on these topics.  These topics align with the 10th grade standards for Life Science.
