Key Club Visit the Key Club Webpage! Key Club is one of the oldest and largest service programs for high school students in the U.S. It is a student-led organization which stresses the importance and qualities of good leadership through service to others. Members of Key Club, also part of the Kiwanis International family, build themselves as they build their schools and communities. Key Club strives to build and recognize character through such qualities as: caring, character building, inclusiveness, leadership, personal improvement, ethics, morals and loyalty. The vision of Key Club is, “To develop competent, capable, and caring leaders through the vehicle of service.” The Key Club Motto is, “Caring-Our Way of Life.” Key Club has a number of objectives: To serve the school and community To cooperate with the school principal To prepare for useful citizenship To accept and promote the following ideals: To encourage daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships; To promote the adoption and application of higher standards in scholarship, sportsmanship, and social contacts; To develop be precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship To provide a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render unselfish service, and to build better communities; To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism and good will. Key Club Week is celebrated the first full week in November, during which activities to provide and promote service to school and community becomes a major focus for its members. Key Club members have a great time providing service and participating in some fun activities throughout the year.
