Schools affiliated with the NAIA has its own set of standards for incoming freshman athletes.  This section has the basic freshman entry requirements.  The link to the NAIA website is www.naia.org.
A freshman student entering an NAIA affiliated school must be a graduate of an accredited high school or be accepted as a student in good standing as defined by the enrolling institution.

An entering freshman student must meet two of the three entry requirements:

  • A minimum score of 18 on the Enhanced ACT or 860 on the SAT
  • An overall high school grade point average of 2.000 or higher on a 4.000 scale.
  • Graduate in the upper half of the student's high school graduating class.
These basic requirements all have interpretations that can be found at the NAIA Freshman Eligibility link. All of the forms needed to certify eligibility can be found at the NAIA's Eligibility link.  The complete NAIA Handbook can be found at this link.
